“ We had dinner today 2/16. I have to say that the food and service were great. The server was prompt, kind, and personable. My husband had the chicken Marsala and I had the tour of Italy. It was delicious and very authentic. For appetizer we had the calamari, and it’s was the closest to Venice calamari we’ve tasted in the South. I know someone previously posted about their ambiance being a little bland but I would have to disagree with it. I also love that they clean their tables thoroughly, as I watched after a family left their table across from us.Highly recommend! ”
“ My husband and I decided to try Amore based on the reviews and menu. I’d give this place 10/10 if I could from the service to the food! The place is small yet cozy. The rolls are so good and the food was delicious. I got the baked Ziti and my husband ordered the Cannelloni. Our server Sarah was fantastic! She was so nice and considerate. They offer a military discount and she even sent us out the door with extra rolls and a piece of Limoncello cake based on her recommendation and generosity for stopping in. We truly enjoyed connecting and having such a great first experience. Can’t wait to go back! ”
“ We had a nice date night here. We hadn’t been here in many months and we were trying to remember if it was ‘good’ or not. So we gave it a try. And yes it it very good. We’re going to add this to our rotation of restaurants. My wife got the lasagna and it was full of cheese and nice and hot. Almost sweet tomato sauce. Very tasty. I got the chicken Alfredo which was good too. The rolls came out first and they were warm and soft. We both got a Greek salad. We had plenty to take home for leftovers because we wanted to save room for dessert. Tiramisu of course. We’re not big fans of chocolate syrup (like Hershey’s) and prefer a chocolate sauce instead. But it was light and fluffy. Very good and we’ll definitely be back. ”

“ I’m just visiting the Jackson area and wasn’t familiar with which restaurants were worth trying. I was getting hungry, it was getting late, and I had a serious craving for Fettuccine Alfredo. This place was one of the few non-chain Italian spots still open, and since it was close to closing time, I quickly placed an order and headed over to pick it up. I only ordered the Fettuccine Alfredo and expected just the pasta, but to my surprise, it came with two homemade garlic rolls and a side salad. Not only was it a great value, but everything was absolutely delicious. My interaction with the staff was brief, but they were very friendly and welcoming. The interior of the restaurant is also really charming—I’d love to come back and dine in sometime. Overall, everything was perfect and well worth the 10-mile drive from where I’m staying. ”
“ Very pleasantly surprised, not a big place, but an awesome meal. Even the bread was wonderful, my wife had the baked ziti, and I had the Chicken Martini which was one of the posted specials. The service was fantastic, they treated us like family. The dessert we had was the limoncello cake and it was a great way to end our meal. It was our first time there, but we will be back. ”
“ I was in the area unexpectedly and looking for a place for dinner for me and my young sons, 7 and 4 years old. I saw the Google ratings and stopped in. I was pleasantly surprised that a former fast food drive thru style building had been converted into such a lovely sit down Italian restaurant. The waitress was kind from start to finish. We arrived around the time that several other parties arrived, but all of us were seated and served pretty quickly. The waitress made great recommendations and explained my options since I’m pescatarian. The food came out fresh and really delicious! It tasted like homemade pasta which was nice. I enjoyed the eggplant parmigiana with spaghetti and my kids devoured the spaghetti with meatballs. The pricing was fair for the quality and atmosphere. It was a lovely dinner and first experience. I will be back (with hubby next time). ”
